Do I get the pricing right?

Let’s see. ZenVPN has a base fee that allows a certain number of devices. For example, your laptop and mobile phone would be separate devices. Each plan has a price for extra active devices that month. You may use all our shared cloud locations for your split tunneling needs. If you need more locations, you can buy your own Dedicated VPN server in different geo locations from our hosting partners. We’ll charge for each server $15 a month on all plans. Split tunneling works only for the websites you specify in the Sites page of your dashboard. If you need to route all your other remaining traffic through ZenVPN without setting up routing rules first, you’d need a Classic VPN which is included with every paid plan.

Is classic VPN free?

Classic VPN is included in all our paid plans, but is not available without a subscription.  However, if you only require VPN functionality for specific websites and not for all your internet traffic (split tunneling), our free plan offers this feature for free.

Is there an example of how the pricing works?

Sure, let’s say you’re a team of 3, and each team member uses 2 devices — one laptop and one smartphone, to a total of 6 devices. You need to secure your WordPress and grant access only to your team members. You choose a Classic plan with a $5 base monthly fee. WordPress plugin works via API and does not require a Dedicated VPN server with static IP address. The total for the month would be $5 as base fee, $4 for each of 3 extra devices beyond included, $0 for Dedicated Servers. It adds up to $17 per month.

What payment methods and what currencies can I use?

ZenVPN accepts all major credit and debit cards as the payment method. The currency is US dollars.

Are the payments secure?

We rely on Stripe for their world-class expertise on securely handling card and subscription data and on dealing with unique bank requirements around the world. You interact directly with the Stripe interface and they will guide you through the process if your bank needs more information.

Is ZenVPN secure and fast?

ZenVPN uses Wireguard protocol for speed and security. We use IPv6 for internal cloud routing, which allows us to put every user into their own subnet, so no interaction with others is possible. You are truly isolated from others even on the shared cloud locations. If that isn’t enough, you can buy a dedicated server or a few for your team.

Do I need your API to secure my website?

One of ZenVPN’s goals is to make your website secure by allowing your admins and operators to go through a single tunnel. You may use the API to fetch current IPs and block unwanted traffic. Alternatively, you can get a Dedicated VPN server (or bring your own) with a static IP address. This way you can allow only that IP and do not need to update it in realtime. Our WordPress plugin uses API so you don’t need that extra expense if you don’t mind cloud shared locations.
